Why did you choose Materials Science and Engineering?
I really enjoyed my high school STEM classes, and when exploring various types of engineering, materials science and engineering had the combination of chemistry and physics that I was looking for in a major. Because it is necessary in virtually every field, I knew that I would be able to find a way to apply it to a wide range of interests.

Best thing about being a Hokie?
The community feel! No matter what you are interested in, you can find your place at Virginia Tech and truly feel at home in Blacksburg!! The food is good too. :-)
