Paul Eusner received B.S. and M.S. degrees in ceramic engineering from Virginia Tech. He also earned an M.S. from the MIT Sloan School of Management Fellows program. Between 1971 and 1984 he worked for Mulcoa, a division of CE Minerals, where he served as the operations plant manager and later as a product development manager. From 1985 to 1998, he was the vice president for marketing and business development at CE Minerals. In 1999 he co-founded Great Lakes Minerals, LLC and is currently president of the company. His technical and commercial expertise is in industrial minerals: mullite, refractory bauxite, fused alumina, fused silica, etc. He also has experience in mineral processing plant design and operations, as well as domestic and international business development and company formation. He resides in Kentucky with his wife of 41 years, Bonnie. They have three children, Georgia (VT alum ’98), Erin, and Matt.
