  • Nucleation phenomena and kinetics of epitaxial crystal growth
  • Self-diffusion, interdiffusion, and impurity diffusion in semiconductors
  • Compound semiconductor alloys, heterostructures, and quantum wells
  • Physics of photonic devices operating at extremely short and long wavelengths
  • Physics of electronic devices operation at high-temperature and high-power
