Why did you choose Materials Science and Engineering?
Materials Science and Engineering was the happy meeting place of all the chemistry, biology, mathematics, and conceptual thinking that I've always enjoyed. Materials are part of our everyday life, and to get to focus and learn about them at their smallest level to industry applications was the best decision I could have made.

Best thing about being a Hokie?
The sense of community and belonging that you gain from being part of a wonderful group of people at the university, and the support from professors, instructors, and students.
