Paul Huffman
A third-generation foundry worker, Paul Huffman is president of Dominion Metallurgical headquartered in Roanoke, Virginia. DOMET is a full service engineering and supply company, which specializes in providing cast, forged, and machined metal components to Fortune 500 OEM companies.
A metallurgical engineering graduate of Virginia Tech, Huffman serves on their Industry Advisory Board, co-chairs the VT FIRE Steering Committee and is an adjunct Instructor. Huffman also is a member of the American Society for Metals and serves as education chairman and past director for The American Foundry Society's Piedmont Chapter. He also is a past trustee for The Foundry Education Foundation.
Prior to founding DOMET, Huffman was the plant metallurgical engineer for the Pangborn Division of The Carborundum Company in Hagerstown, Maryland, and the plant manager for Graham-White Foundry in Salem, Virginia.
Huffman is also the Managing Partner for Safety Step, LLC, a supplier of metal stepstools and industrial hose components. He lives with his family in Roanoke, Virginia.
